Irn-Bru (Irn is pronounced the same as iron) is such an institution in Scotland that it can be bought at McDonald’s restaurants there. However, it’s easy to obtain all over the UK from convenience stores, petrol stations, supermarkets and vending machines.

I’m thinking of bringing some to EF so that people can try it for themselves. Is the ‘International Snack Exchange’ event still a thing? I used to enjoy that back in the day.

Pawnote: surprisingly, root beer used to be available at UK McDonald’s restaurants, but it was discontinued in the 1990s. A pity, as I rather like it, especially the New England variation, Moxie, which is a very acquired taste. Liking it makes you an honourary New Englander, apparently:)

Here is a hot take. “conservative” games are the ones that are best to play with friends.

I did Fortnite or all these Street Fighter crap and it was dumbest thing ever. On the other hand either simple Insurgency Sandstorm tournaments or doing buddy lasing on DCS Kiowa/Hornet duo or cooperating with my Tomcat RIO were the best moments I ever had with friends. People who don’t like conservative games should honestly admit they are looking for excuses to not say “I suck at it sorry.”

I challenge people who hates these games to make burner trial accounts and try rolling snakeyes on the Tomcat or at the least try Squad Fireteams and say they still find these games dumb.
