Even though I have a few non-zoo friends and acquaintances who know I’m a zoo, I only really feel at ease around other zoos, hence why my very, very closest friends are fellow zoos.
I actually think that my best friend is myself, as I came to terms with who and what I am a long time ago, and I realised that I either lived with it or I didn’t. I chose to do the former.
No idea if anyone where work knows I’m a furry (they do know that I’m fairly eccentric, though), but there’s certain evidence such as a Husky plush on my truck’s dashboard, and my profile pic on my company’s WhatsApp group is that of my fursuit’s head. To be honest, I couldn’t care less!
