Pity that you got cut off in your prime, as I was really enjoying the episode, as ever. Did you record anything else at the convention, such as the zooey music concert, if it was indeed a thing this year?
I’m hoping to attend EF next year,
(providing that I can find affordable accommodation) as 2026 will be the 20th anniversary of my first attending the convention in 2006, when it was held in Nuremburg and was still fairly small. I last attended in 2011, the final year of it being held in Magdeburg. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, to say the least!

After recording that episode I asked a friend where I would end up if I were to go in their washing machine and they very confidently said “to the hospital”, so they already know where their socks go! How convenient! I wonder if we can somehow manipulate the destination so we can organize a secret zoo meetup through a washing machine wormhole. 🤔
That aside, it was really a fun episode to record and listen again. Thank you very much for letting us be a part of it, and I’m sorry for the occasional times I spoke over someone else x_x

This EF was SO amazing, really happy about getting to meet some of yall cool critters for the first time, and getting to spend a lot more time this year with the critters I had only met more briefly last year. I find it incredibly healing to be among my kind, dancing and petting and yapping and eating veggie burgers. My favorite part of the convention this year for sure is that I didn’t drink any skinny bitches unless I did do that and forgot but I’m pretty sure I didn’t.

Re: Disappearing socks. My friend blames elves, but I guess it was those aliens putting wormholes in our washing machines all along.
Re: Sticker wars. It was super exciting to be there to witness it this year. I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical before seeing it with my own eyes. Like “there’s no way someone’s so obsessed they’d camp the sticker wall constantly.” Well, dear listeners, turns out they ARE that obsessive.
To close this off (before the question), it was so amazing to meet all the people. In response to Eggshell’s comment: No. You rule! And Aki, I’m happy that we hit it off so well. Miss you!
