Re: Fediverse being fragmented. This is exactly the issue the protocol is trying to fix! No matter which instance you’re on, you’re going to be able to reach whoever on any other instance! It’s kinda like how you can send an email from Google’s Gmail to Microsoft’s Outlook even though they’re different platforms. This is made possible by both platforms using the same protocol! So don’t think about the Fediverse as an archipelago of isolated islands but as cities connected by roads, each with their own laws. And the cool thing is (and I just tested this), I can actually find users on Hubzilla through Mastodon and follow them!
Answering my own question regarding hobbies I’ve wanted to try: Archery! I’ve had a few chances of shooting a bow at a target but I’ve never actually done it as a hobby.

Because you asked Brass, just some clarification on black widows on stallion testicles. It is just a single piece of art by the feral artist called Darkmare, He draws some really out there stuff, as well as more tame realistic animal pictures. In fact he has had to date 14 pictures removed from e621 for being real life animal sex, and when he shows the sketches proving it was drawn not photoshop of a real image, then it becomes “Not up to e621 quality standards”. These are not bestiality mind you, there is only ever feral/realistic animals in the images, no humans. But with realism come some reality such as flies hanging around large animals due to large piles of waste product. Or the fact black widows can be in barns that doesn’t mean she was there to bite his balls though, that area of most animals is typically warm on a cold night. Though commenters on the picture did decide, that if she did bite him the solution was to come quickly to pump out the poison before it spread.
Darkmare does know the anatomy of animals though and draws it well. But his more extreme content won’t be for everyone. So if the idea of a Bull Terrier pissing into shot glasses while standing on the bar of a pub or a french poodle pleasuring a boar with anal beads isn’t for you; then best stick to just his stunning animal genitals pics.
