Regarding poison tomatoes: The tomato plant and unripe fruit do actually contain a couple toxic alkaloids! Namely tomatine and solanine. They’re small in amount so they likely won’t be harmful to humans (tomato leaves and unripe green tomatoes are actually used in cooking) but pets like dogs may be harmed from consuming them. Though I think that the old misconception of them being poisonous is because they’re in the nightshade family instead of the minute amount of poison they contain.
In regards to the DSI, I feel like part of the distrust comes from just the time it’s been around. The more time the Initiative has been around, the more people are getting caught in its net, and the more likely it is that someone’s friend is among those caught. And we don’t want to believe horrible things about our friends. At least it’s not our first instinct. They’ll think the DSI made a mistake, and that’s a difficult thing to deal with.

Oh and one of our GSD used to steal Tomatoes from the vegetable garden, we always tried to discourage the thefts but it didn’t seem to effect her, but probably wasn’t good for her all the same.
Does Germany or the US have family owned corner hamberger places or is it all just multinational chains? Out of all of them I prefer Hungry Jacks (Burger King in the US) They are a proper size and taste better than McDlds piddly little excuses for a burger.
Could one of the US host please write a letter to Donald and ask him to please stop imposing a tariff on our Penguins, they don’t have any money to pay it. I mean there aren’t even any humans on that blooming island. And the seals already tax the penguins 1/4 of a fish for every fish caught. So there’s just no way they can afford to even pay Trump in fishes. 🙁
